A rippled red-pink glass that moves with the light
Vulcano has a single colour, Mauna Loa, and it is being discontinued, so we sell what we have in stock while stock lasts. Mauna Loa is iridescent, so the pink-red base picks up different reflections as the light and your viewing angle change. The rippled texture breaks the surface up further, so the look shifts through the day.
A colour this strong works well as an accent: a spa, a feature wall or a band along the waterline. Order a $5 sample and hold it next to your coping and deck, wet and dry. If you need more than one box, call us first so we can check what is left.

How to order Vulcano tile
Four steps from measuring to a complete order.
1. Measure
Add up walls, floor, steps and benches in square feet, or let the Pool Tile Calculator do it.
2. Choose your colour
Open a colour and choose Get Sample ($5, credited toward your order), or order boxes if you already know the one.
3. Order whole boxes
Tile is sold by the box (13 sheets, 21.5 sq ft). Prices on the cards are per sq ft, so round up to whole boxes.
4. Add grout and adhesive
Plan one 2.5 kg container of Starlike Pro epoxy grout for every box of 25 mm tile. Set it with PowerGel S1+ on concrete.

Adhesive
On concrete, set glass mosaic with PowerGel S1+ ($130, 20 kg), a white flexible adhesive rated for freeze-thaw. For a waterproof epoxy bond use PowerGel Pro Max ($160, 5 kg), and waterproof the shell first with SafetyGel ($320, 10 kg).
