Deep Ocean Elegance for Luxury Canadian Swimming Pools
Ocean is a turquoise, royal blue and cobalt blue iridescent glass mosaic pool tile from the Iridescent Collection: 1 × 1 in (25 mm) glass mosaic tiles, 4.6 mm thick, made in Spain from recycled glass. It is sold by the full box: 13 sheets covering 21.5 sq ft, at $23.75 per sq ft ($510.63 per box, CAD). A Safe (anti-slip) finish is also available at $31.25 per sq ft ($671.88 per box), by special order unless shown in stock.
Ocean has a royal blue base with deep cobalt and subtle turquoise undertones. Iridescent reflections add movement, inspired by the depth of the sea.

How much Ocean do you need?
Sold in full boxes of 21.5 sq ft. Use our pool tile calculator, or follow the steps below.
- Measure the area you’re tiling in square feet. Pool measuring guide
- Add about 10% for cuts and waste.
- Divide by 21.5 and round up to whole boxes. Order everything at once so all boxes come from the same production lot.
- Grout: plan one 2.5 kg container of Starlike® Pro per box of 25 mm tile (21.5 sq ft).

Glass is translucent, so adhesive colour shows through. Ultra-white keeps the glass colour true. Flexible C2TE S1 (EN 12004), tested for adhesion after water immersion and freeze-thaw.
Coverage depends on trowel size and substrate. A 6 mm notched trowel is recommended. Call us and we'll size your order.

What is Ocean pool tile?

How many boxes of Ocean do I need?
Each box covers 21.5 sq ft. Add about 10% to your measured area for cuts and waste, divide by 21.5 and round up. For example, a 6" waterline on a 16 × 32 ft pool (48 sq ft) needs 3 boxes and 3 containers of grout.
What grout goes best with Ocean?
Starlike® Pro 63 Nettuno. Plan one 2.5 kg container of Starlike® Pro per box of 25 mm tile (21.5 sq ft). For nearly invisible joints, choose Starlike® Crystal.
Can Ocean be used in outdoor pools in Canada?
Yes. The Iridescent Collection is rated for interior and exterior pools and resists frost (ISO 10545-12). Install it with a freeze-thaw-tested adhesive such as PowerGel® S1+ and an epoxy grout such as Starlike® Pro.
Is Ocean suitable for saltwater pools?
Yes. The Iridescent Collection is listed as suitable for saltwater pools, with Class A chemical resistance to standard pool chemicals.
Which adhesive should I use with Ocean?
On concrete, use an ultra-white C2TE adhesive or better. PowerGel® S1+ (C2TE S1) is our go-to, and its white colour keeps translucent glass bright. For fiberglass, steel or other demanding substrates, ask us about PowerGel® Pro Max epoxy adhesive.
How long does delivery take, and what does shipping cost?
Ocean is in stock. Shipping is calculated at checkout from the weight of your order and your postal code. In stock orders of $1,000 or more ship free in Canada. When your whole order, in stock and special order together, is $5,000 or more and includes special order tile, your entire order ships free in Canada. Orders to the USA always pay shipping. A minimum shipping charge of $39 applies to small orders that do not ship free. Delivering to a commercial loading dock? Tick Commercial dock delivery at checkout and the residential and tailgate charges come off.
Can I get a sample before ordering?
Yes. A 3" × 4" Ocean sample is $5, credited toward your tile order. Sample shipping is free in Canada, and samples usually arrive by UPS in 2 to 5 business days across Canada; US customers can order samples from pooltile.us. Check it in your own light, next to your coping and decking.
